Ceasefire is comprised of Ray Alexander (vocals), Kamren Alexander (guitar) and Anthony Hainsworth (drums). While the band’s name may indicate a pause in the action, the music is an expression of the human experience.
Formed in 2011 and based in Orange County, CA., Ceasefire is known foremost for their incredible live performances, Ray’s captivating vocal presence, and Kamren’s ambiently melodic guitar textures. Theirs is a sound that channels the best of both classic and modern music, the perfect mesh of what you knew and what you know.
In 2013 Ceasefire entered the studio to record their first EP “In the Dead of Night” with Grammy winning producer, Josh Mosser (Imagine Dragons, Christina Aguilera, Usher, X Ambassadors, Eminem), and Grammy nominated engineer, Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees, Pink, Walk the Moon, Youngblood Hawke).
Ceasefire has shared the stage with such international artists as, Everclear, Daughtry, Dramarama, Three Six Mafia and LMFAO. They have also had their music featured in episodes of Hills, The City, The Real World, The Discovery Channel, Lipton Ice Tea commercials and many more.
Ceasefire’s prestigious nominations include: ‘Best Live Band’ (2012 OC Music Awards); ‘Alternative Album of the Year’ (2014 IMEA Awards).
In 2014, the band’s single ‘Wake Up’ was featured on THE WORLD FAMOUS KROQ’s “Locals Only Show” and dominated the local airwaves by staying on the station for a record breaking 21 weeks in the Top 5 most requested songs.
In August of 2016 Ceasefire released their brand new single “JOYRIDE” and are currently in the studio preparing the release of their full EP early 2017.
